2020: The 72 books of the year

2020 has been awful on so many levels, but there’s been some truly amazing books to help escape into. With all that’s been going on, lots of authors made their debuts to little fanfare and many returning authors produced exciting follow-ups that didn’t get the recognition they deserve. So, I hope this list helps you find your next read or Christmas present – for yourself or for others! I’ve split them up into three categories – Middle Grade (9-12 year olds), Young Adult (13+) and adult (16/18+).

Adult

P.S It’s only been 22 hours since I put this list together, and I’m already kicking myself for some of my omissions. (So far, special mention has to go to The Foundling by Stacey Halls (Adult)which is phenomenal).
