I’m a 25 year old full- time teacher of English at an East End Secondary School and part-time wannabe film reviewer.
Film has always been a massive passion for me. I studied it at university (of Kent, thanks for asking!) then let it lie dormant after graduating.
A spell of depression (loneliness of living in London whilst not knowing anyone combined with horrors of first year of teaching) and having set up a Cineworld Unlimited membership which I barely used led me to setting myself a challenge – to watch at least one film at the cinema each week then review it.
I successfully completed the challenge but found I wanted to keep on going to the cinema and keep on writing.
So, if you’re interested in reading the film-related ramblings of a fangirl then please read on. Follow me as I take in the good, bad and ugly that contemporary cinema offers. And do not hesitate to comment or get in touch!
Since starting the blog two years ago I’ve been immensely lucky to now also be writing for Vulture Hound, Den of Geek and JumpCut.
